This program and reception will honor this moment in time when Berkeley has seven women deans, the largest number in Berkeley's history. Faculty and graduate students are invited to join us in an informal conversation with all seven of our women deans to reflect on the impact of women in dean's roles at Berkeley and on career paths for women interested in academic leadership. President's and Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship Programs Academic Retreat

This year's retreat will be held October 29 through October 31, 2010, at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center. All fellows and mentors find the retreat to be a very worthwhile and enjoyable program event. The Retreat provides opportunities for postdoctoral fellows to present research papers and to receive both substantive and stylistic feedback on their presentations. The retreat is also an opportunity to network with UC faculty members and other postdoctoral fellows and relax in the beautiful environment of Lake Arrowhead.
