Academic Search Data Collection Site
The Academic Search Data Collection Site has been created to collect demographic data on applicants for academic positions. Departments conducting academic searches are required to use this site. This process replaces the old affirmative action mail in surveys. In order to ensure a diverse applicant pool, all departments must input applicant information on a rolling basis as applications come in. Upon receipt of applications, departments will need to enter the applicant’s name and email address into the system. The system will generate an email that is sent to the applicant. The email acknowledges receipt of the application and directs them to enter information on our demographic data collection website.
